How we learn to dance...
We all learn to partner dance the same way. Whether we start when we're 4 or 84, we all have to start with the basic elements: foot placement, timing and leading/following.
Each dance has it's own style but stripped down to it's most basic elements, all of them are more similar than not.
Our instructors teach in a way that makes learning more than one dance very easy. This allows students to dance to any type of music that is playing! So on your next cruise or at your friend's wedding, you can dance to whatever fast or slow music they play...unless it's the Chicken Dance...you're on your own for that one.
Learning to dance is just like learning to speak a second language and the more time a student puts into learning and practicing, the faster they will progress. Your instructor will make sure your learning is on track and will most likely give you something to practice in between your lessons to make the most of your lesson time.
